The inexpensive and robust desk top high voltage power supplies are assembled out of the proven high voltage modules of the CPS, DPS and EPS series. The units are available with either 1, 2 or 3 high voltage channels in many variations and combinations.
The output voltage is controlled via the 10-turn potentiometer, the USB interface or the analog I/O. Output voltage and current is displayed on a 2 line LCD per channel, located on the front panel.

1-channel and 2-channel versions with:

  • high voltage modules CPS series 500 V up to 10 kV / max. 12 W output power or
  • high voltage modules DPS series 500 V up to 6 kV / max. 12 W output power, with switchable polarity, very low ripple and noise and very high stability

1-channel versions with:

  • high voltage modules CPS series 15 kV up to 30 kV / max. 12 W output power or
  • high voltage modules EPS series 500 V up to 10 kV / max. 60 W output power

1-channel up to 3-channel in 2U-19” versions with:

  • high voltage modules CPS, DPS and EPS series up to 30 kV in arbitrary combinations

The HV modules (DC/DC converter) are supplied with AC/DC-converter:

  • up to 24 W output power with a wide range AC mains supply (100 to 240 V AC) and
  • for more output power with a switchable AC mains supply (110 V AC / 230 V AC ).

Mass Spectrometry

For analysis of unknown substances in Biology, Chemics and Medicine, Mass Spectrometers are widely used. Depending on design and application of the mass spectrometer, high voltage power supplies with very high stabilities are necessary for the required analyses. iseg offers standard solutions as well as customer specific designed power supplies.

Solid-state detectors

Particle Detectors based on semiconductive materials, such as Silicon-, Germanium- and Cadmium zinc telluride-detectors and Silicon Photomultipliers are used for the proof and measurement of ionizing radiation. Depending on design and application of the detector, high voltage power supplies with high stability, low noise and specific protective features are necessary. iseg staff has a longstanding experience in design and manufacturing of high voltage power supplies for semiconductive particle detectors and is offering standard products as well as customer specific supplies.

Systems for cable testing, for example for validation of proof voltage, defects analysis, defects repair or diagnosis of additional parameters are fields of usage of iseg high voltage power supplies with output voltages up to 80kV. iseg has a longstanding experience and several cooperations with industrial and scientific partners in this field.

gas ionisation detectors

Gas ionisation detectors, such as Ionisation Chambers, Straw-Tubes, Wire Chambers, Resisitive Plate Chambers, Gas Electron Multipliers, MicroMegas and more are widely used in different applications for the detection of ionising radiation. For proper operation these detectors often need reliable high voltage power supplies with very high stability and low noise. Depending on detector type, specific protection to prevent damage of the detector can also be necessary. iseg has longstanding experiences with various detector types and a wide product range from single channel devices to systems with several thousands of channels.

Avalanche photo diodes

Avalanche Photo-Diodes (APD) are used for detection of very small doses of light or radiation with in some cases very high frequencies. Dependent on Design and application APDs can also be used for single photon counting. APDs are used in various fields in Science and Industry, such as Biology, Medicine, Chemistry, Aviation and more. iseg offers a wide range of power supplies with high stability and low noise in small packaging.

Electron Beam Systems

Electron Beam Systems are widely used in Science and Industry (i.e. Electron beam welding, surface-harden, sterilization, perforation, electron beam lithography). For acceleration and deflection of electrons high voltage power supplies are necessary.

Electrostatic Lenses

electrostatic lenses are used for deviation,  focus and control of ion beams. Therefore, depending on the requested reaction, different electromagnetic fields are applied. For the generation of the electromagnetic fields high-voltage power supplies are necessary.  iseg Spezialelektronik GmbH has several years of experience in this application and can use ta wide range of basic products for adaptations.

Ion Implantation

Ion Implantation is used for insertion of Ions into specific materials (doping) to achieve a specific change of the characteristics of the basic material. This method often used in the semiconductor industry. Several steps of this method (i.e. Acceleration, Separation of Ions, Deflection of Ions) require high voltage power supplies.

Plasma creation

For generation and maintenance of electron plasma for usage in Science and Industry High Voltage Power Supplies with high output power are often used. Usually for Ignition high voltages and for maintenance high current is necessary. iseg Spezialelektronik GmbH has already done several adaptations of basic products for this application.

HV Testing

During product or component development in science and industry, sometimes high voltage tests are necessary. These are done to measure the reaction or the durability of components or whole products to exposure to high voltage in short or long time scales. For different setups, high voltage supplies from iseg Spezialelektronik GmbH can be used.

Material Separation

To separate different materials one from another, one often uses electrical fields, generated by high voltage power supplies. For example to separate and to recycle the materials existing in shreddered electronics waste.

Electrophoresis

Applying electromagnetic fields, electrophorese is used for separation and analysis of mixtures of substances in Biology, Chemistry and Medicine. Depending on the setup of the experiment, high voltage power supplies are used.
