Differences EHS / EHQ
Features:
The design of our iseg multichannel modules is characterized by ongoing further developments. Basis of the improvements are the requests coming from the customers combined with the ideas of our developers leading into better functionality , improved reliability and higher quality. Our experience during the integration into larger systems in connection with the use of our OPC Server results into permanent improvements of the system hardware - firmware - application software. iseg therefore has revised both hard and software of the entire product range of the multi channel modules . The result is our new EHS family.
Description:
The equipment of the different hardware devices has been standardized in terms of construction, function and firmware. Regarding the functionality we offer a better variety in hardware features. The control of the EHS modules is carried out via the CAN bus. The DCP (device control protocol) is supported as well as the EDCP (enhanced device control protocol). DCP: Full compatibility to EHQ modules with compatible hardware EDCP: Enlarged and improved functionality particularly to support a higher autonomy and independence of the module Features of EDCP: ■ Handing over of all analogous values in floating-point single precision format ■ Tolerance bounds around the set points for the autonomous supervision of the set point compliance ■ Clear separation between condition signals (instantaneous values) and event signals (registered events) ■ Hierarchical mask structure for the choice of events to be reported ■ Assigning different module reactions to the events ■ Extensive group logic for summarizing events and reactions, e.g. switching off a channel group in which the accompanying channels are free of choice. ■ Trip groups whose response time can be delayed |
