New: VME Distribution multichannel modules

8 and 24 channel VME high voltage distribution modules VDS with 3kV / 500uA, individual current measurement per channel and Live insertion capability

The distribution modules of VDS series are available in 8 or 24 channel versions
with voltages of up to 3kV at a current of 500 uA per channel.

Each channel is fully remote controllable via VME-interface according to VME/VME64 standards

For applications with high numbers of high voltage channels, the VDS modules are
a very attractive alternative to systems of other manufacturers because of their
low price per channel in combination with the given features. Because of their
high durability and easily doable firmware-updates there will also be low
maintenance costs making these units a safe long-term investment.

The modules have been developed based on our EDS units in cooperation with
scientists at major international institutes.

The units offer the user many new functionalities, such as programmable links between reactions of channels to specific events (current limits, voltage or current out of bounds, delayed ramp down of specific channels and many more).

With the VDS we offer the users a very powerful tool for high voltage power
supplying which can be used for various detector types like arrays of
photomultiplier tubes, tracking and vertex detectors based on silicon, various
calorimeters, drift chambers, Time-Projection-Chambers and many more.
